National Lacrosse League
Every Child Matters Logo

The Every Child Matters logo was created to help spread awareness of the stories and on going discoveries of boarding and residential schools across North America.

The Every Child Matters Logo has a child wearing a ribbon shirt along with a braid. I wanted to represent the culture that Indigenous people endured to keep. The ribbon shirt is widely used across the united states by indigenous people and could represent many nations. The wooden stick was not the traditional lacrosse stick but one that would be used during the days of boarding school.
