UMU is an interactive learning game designed to help teach the Ute language. It is paired with a website to help the player see how the words are spelled and hear how the words are pronounced. Immerse yourself in the language. The You Are Ute book is a mixture of research, perceptions, and potential solution to helping the Ute Language.
UMU: You Are Ute book design
This book design was 117 pages filled with history, research into how Native Americans lost their language, current solutions, interviews, and my solution and designs for the revitalization of the Ute language. This is a school project, but also a passion of mine to help our tribe carry on our language.
